Michigan Premier Events is proud to announce its partnership with the Peckham Internship Program, further solidifying its commitment to cultivating talent and providing opportunities for growth in the event management and coordination fields.
With a longstanding history of offering valuable internship experiences, Michigan Premier Events has provided a platform for individuals to build skills in event coordinating, management, communications, and marketing. Many of our past interns have gone on to secure full-time positions, either with us or with other organizations, continuing to build successful careers in the industry. Our program is designed to give individuals hands-on experience, helping them gain the confidence and knowledge they need to thrive.

This year, Michigan Premier Events has taken a step further by collaborating with Peckham, a nonprofit organization dedicated to job development for individuals with disabilities. Peckham's new job development program allows participants to intern with companies to assess whether they have the skillset to transition into a full-time position.
We are excited to welcome Zelith Pung as our Administrative Intern through Peckham's job development program. Since joining the team, Zelith has made significant contributions to enhancing the organization and efficiency of our operations. As an intern, Zelith is not only helping us stay organized but is also developing new skills that will benefit their career growth.
"I am honored to have this opportunity with Peckham," said Ashlee Willis, Founder & CEO of Michigan Premier Events. "Mid-Michigan has a tremendous amount of talent, and it's great to partner with organizations like Peckham to help share that talent and create valuable career opportunities."

This partnership exemplifies Michigan Premier Events' dedication to supporting and empowering the next generation of professionals, and we look forward to seeing the incredible growth and success of both Zelith and future interns in the program.
“At Peckham, we are committed to empowering individuals on their career journeys through meaningful partnerships said Calley Green, Vocational Services Manager, Peckham. In collaboration with Michigan Rehabilitation Services, we provide career exploration opportunities that support our candidates in developing the skills and confidence needed for meaningful employment. Having partners like Michigan Premier Events is crucial to workforce development in our community. Their commitment to offering hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities strengthens the local talent pipeline. We are proud to support recruitment efforts that connect businesses with diverse, skilled candidates ready to contribute to our community’s economic success.”
We are proud to be part of this initiative and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on our community through meaningful collaborations like this one.
